Estonian Museums Where Well-Behaved Dogs Are Welcome
Summer is a time for travel, and our four-legged friends don’t have to stay home. However, not all places are accessible to them. We have gathered information on which Estonian museums allow well-behaved dogs.
Before visiting a museum, it’s important to familiarize yourself with its rules. Some museums allow only small lap dogs or dogs the owner keeps on a leash or in a carrier. Some museums permit dogs only in specific exhibitions or buildings. Like other museum visitors, dogs should be well-behaved, and it’s the owner’s responsibility to ensure this during the visit.
“In addition to being a novel experience for humans, a dog must also adapt to new smells, people, and experiences when visiting a museum. Make sure your pet is well-fed, take breaks if necessary, and allow enough time for your dog to get used to the new environment before the museum visit,” advises dog trainer Urve Lageda.
We wish you and your pet genuine museum experiences!
