The Kondas Centre

A museum that stands for outsider art

The Kondas Center in Viljandi is a small art museum that aims to research, collect, and introduce Estonian outsider art.

The center consists of a permanent exhibition of the work of the naïve artist Paul Kondas, who lived in Viljandi, and a gallery for temporary exhibitions.

The scope of the Kondas center’s exhibitions is quite wide, ranging from classical painting, architecture, handcrafts, and contemporary art to outsider art, which is a special focus of the center.

The Kondas Center has been a member of the European Outsider Art Association since 2019.
