Kihnu Museum gives you an overview of the rich culture, customs, and traditions of Kihnu island and tells stories about the island’s modern life.
Kihnu Museum is located in an old school building, which was specially renovated to make it into a modern museum. The exposition goes back 100 years. The permanent exhibition of historic items is complemented by a multimedia exhibition that presents the island’s history through of film, slides, and audio files. In addition, the museum guides tell you exciting stories about the island.
There are also temporary exhibitions about Kihnu and other related topics. You can learn more about the customs and traditions of Kihnu in various workshops.
The museum shop sells the best products of local artisans and entrepreneurs.
