Sagadi Forest Museum

Learn about Estonian Forests and Sagadi Manor

In Sagadi, you can visit two museum houses. In the Forest Museum building, there is an exciting permanent exhibition on two floors titled “Forest Journey.” This exhibition provides knowledge about Estonian forests and introduces the diverse uses and importance of forests throughout history. Additionally, visitors will find plenty of discovery and hands-on exhibits.

At the heart of the Sagadi manor complex, the manor house with its aristocratic exterior houses a comprehensive manor museum. The manor house is furnished primarily with 19th-century manor-style furniture. The period-appropriate interior, beautiful ceiling paintings, and the unique hunting hall with its exhibition make the Sagadi manor house one of the best examples of life from that era.
