Mikkel Museum

A collection of Western European, Russian, and Oriental art and rarities

The Mikkel Museum is located in the former kitchen of the Kadriorg Palace ensemble. The permanent exhibition introduces the art collection of Johannes Mikkel: an exciting private collection of 16th – to 20th-century Western European, Russian, Chinese and Estonian paintings, graphic art, porcelain and sculptural art donated to the museum by the collector. The temporary exhibitions at the museum are dedicated to historical and contemporary collections, and to the practice of collecting.
