When visiting the Museum of New Art in Pärnu, you can always be sure that you will find a new, exciting, and positively surprising art exhibition within. The museum organizes exhibitions throughout the year and visitors can view the works of classic and contemporary Estonian and foreign artists. The most well-known series of exhibitions is the international nude art exhibition A Man and A Woman, which takes place each summer.

There are over 600 works of visual art in the museum’s collection and over 1,200 documentaries in its video library. The art center, which was founded by Estonian cinematographer and screenwriter Mark Soosaar, is Estonia’s first contemporary art museum and an important hub of Pärnu cultural life.
