The Great Guild Hall
Discover the story of time!
The Great Guild Hall in Tallinn Old Town dates back to 1417 when it became the guild house that united the city’s richest and most influential merchants.
The dignified house, which is now over 600 years old, has been one of the city’s best-known locations for cultural events and celebrations throughout the centuries. Today, you can enjoy a modern museum environment, exhibitions, concerts, and themed evenings in the Great Guild Hall.
Visitors can enjoy various temporary exhibitions in the main hall. In the basement level, visitors can learn about the fascinating history of the building, visit the armory, and see scandalous items from the collection of the Provincial Museum, the predecessor of the Estonian History Museum.
