Tartu Art House
Tartu’s Home of Art
The Tartu Art House is owned by the Tartu Artists’ Union, which has been organizing exhibitions in the building’s halls since its completion in 1959.
Since autumn 2002, a small gallery has been open on the ground floor of the Art House, and in the winter of 2008, the monumental gallery facing the courtyard was inaugurated.
Exhibitions rotate across the three halls on the two floors, usually every four weeks. Around 30 exhibitions are held at the Art House each year.
