Gallery Seek

Photographic art intertwined with history

The Gallery Seek is the exhibition pavilion of the Tallinn Museum of Photography, where Estonian photographic heritage is presented and contemporary photography exhibitions are held.

In the summer of 2025, the gallery will be open in the form of a night gallery, operating from late evening until the early hours of the new day, from 8 PM to 2 AM. The gallery will feature a solo exhibition by Alyona Movko-Mägi titled “Soo” (“Bog”), which explores the connection between the body and corporeality with the landscape. The exhibition treats the bog as a place where bodies, stories, and history are layered and preserved.

In addition to photographic art, the ruins of the St. John the Baptist hospital complex, dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries, are displayed.

Exhibitions only take place in the Gallery Seek during the summer period, from June to October.
