“We bought a Museum Card for each family member!”

Read how Maria Siimo, a mother of two, has a lovely family tradition related to museums and why she bought a Museum Card for each family member.

I’m Maria, a 32-year-old mother of two. Our family has traveled a lot and visited many museums. We are more enormous museum enthusiasts than average. We were excited when we heard through our circle of friends that the Museum Card for Estonia would soon be available.

Museum Card for the whole family
We bought a Museum Card for our daughter’s seventh birthday and also for the other family members. Along with the card, we promised that our older daughter would spend quality time at a museum with mom and dad at least once a week. Our love language is quality time together, and our daughter was thrilled with the gift.
I think the Museum Card makes an excellent gift for a kindergarten or school graduate, someone starting first grade, a teacher, or, why not, a mom, grandma, or a daughter. It’s an opportunity to do something together, and if you’re a frequent museum visitor, it’s also cost-effective.

We take a new picture every year.
Our family’s favorite museum is the Kumu Art Museum. My daughter grew up next to Köler’s “The Faithful Guardian.” We take a picture of this painting almost every year.
