Museum Card gift card now available at Selver stores

For the first time, the Museum Card gift card is available through a nationwide retail chain. Starting today, it can be purchased at the information desks of selected Selver stores across Estonia as well as from the e-Selver online store.

The partnership with Selver makes giving the gift of culture easier than ever. The Museum Card gift card can now be picked up during a regular grocery shopping trip or conveniently ordered online from e-Selver. Customers shopping online also have the option to pay for the gift card in instalments.

According to Brit Tammeorg, CEO of the Museum Card, this collaboration is an important step towards bringing Estonia’s museums even closer to people.

My greatest wish is for people to know that there is an affordable way to enjoy museums and spend their free time in a meaningful way. Once you have explored the museums in your hometown, take a day trip to Haapsalu or spend a weekend in Setomaa to discover something new.”

According to Kristi Simonsen, CEO of Selver, the retailer aims to offer customers not only everyday essentials but also meaningful gift ideas.

In recent years, the Museum Card has become one of Estonia’s most popular cultural products. Nearly 40,000 people have purchased a Museum Card, and in 2025 it was used for more than 185,000 museum visits.

The Museum Card provides unlimited admission for one year to more than 130 museums, galleries and visitor centres across Estonia. It offers a wonderful opportunity to discover new places, revisit favourite museums as often as you like, and give your loved ones a gift of experiences that lasts all year.
