{"id":9254,"date":"2023-01-27T08:04:40","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T08:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/muuseumikaart-ee.vserver.zonevs.eu\/museums\/oskar-luts-house-museum\/"},"modified":"2023-03-29T07:47:42","modified_gmt":"2023-03-29T07:47:42","slug":"oskar-luts-house-museum","status":"publish","type":"museums","link":"https:\/\/muuseumikaart.ee\/en\/museums\/oskar-luts-house-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"The Oskar Luts House Museum\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Come and have a glimpse into the \u201ckitchen of literature\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The Oskar Luts House Museum, located on Riia Street in Tartu, is the last home of Oskar Luts, the favorite writer of many generations, the beloved author of <em>Kevade<\/em> (The Spring), and a legendary citizen of Tartu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The permanent exhibition entitled <em>Oskar Luts: On the Fine Line between Life and Imagination<\/em> gives an overview of Luts&#8217;s work and his importance in the history of Estonian culture \u2013 which you can experience by walking around the writer&#8217;s working and living spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">In the functionalist-style building, the writer&#8217;s studio and guest room have been preserved in an authentic way. The furnishing, from the end of the 19th century, creates a feeling of the era.
